A drone successfully delivers medicines over 150 km to help isolated patients

A drone belonging to Delair, a company based in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne), has made a long-distance delivery of medicines. The 150 km test flight will be used to validate its future use in Quebec to deliver medicines to isolated patients.

To help make this a reality one day, the Saguenay-based ECOGENE-21 group recently took part in tests using small remote-controlled aircraft to deliver medicines or medical samples to remote areas.
